*Not really! I should take some time to learn it for officers' casino purposes though.
Well, more like a leaflet, but anyways. Remember when I mentioned completing a comic about Luise's childhood? It has been laid out, printed and stored in N copies in an ugly cardboard box on my bookshelf. Next step is to sell some out. I'm currently working on the first installment of the main story that I hope to have printed as well - I cannot guarantee this will happen anytime soon though. Finns (anyone reading? Luckily, N is a small number): I'll hardly be attending any conventions in the foreseeable future but will be trying to make the comic available in some way or other. Meanwhile, anyone can get a copy in paper format by ordering here.
For the first time in years, I wanted to invest in my internet presence and get a more or less Luise-related blog running on tumblr, since that's where most people are. Problem: I couldn't find a theme to my tastes. Solution: try hand-coding one that you end up tossing because of a minor problem. Consequence: still no layout. Yes, there will be a blog and I'll be posting a link once it's ready to withstand a visitor's gaze, but I can't say when.
Edit! thousand-mares.tumblr.com – I feel so efficient.
She Brought a Bouquet of Purple Lilacs – The young Luise meets a painter. Things happen. This is a standalone extra, not part of the main storyline. B5, English, 24 b&w pages + full-color cover, read right to left (it makes no sense, I know). Should not contain anything particularly explicit but I intended the story for mature audiences.
1 booklet = 5 €, priority shipping is 1.50 € to Finland and 2 € to Europe. Shipping by second class mail to the rest of the world for 3 € – you can have first class at the ridiculous price of 10 euros if you insist. I accept PayPal or bank transfer in €€€. Please email thousandmares at gmail for further details. This is wiser than to send a note: I check my email far more often than log in here.
